Wilma Harpole

Wilma Harpole, (MSW, LCSW, LAC, CDCS, CRAADC, ICAADC), MACA Board Member at Large, has been involved with Missouri Addictions Counselor Association for over 15 years.

She has worked in many various venues all over the world from CSTAR programs, behavioral health, substance abuse counseling for tribal clinics and Reservations, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Educator, Ethics Trainer, Strengths / Resiliency Trainer, and others. During Wilma's "free time" she is a Volunteer Resiliency Facilitator for The American Red Cross. Wilma is Licensed in Missouri, Illinois, Alaska, and South Dakota. She currently lives in Alaska and works on the joint military base as an embedded LCSW within a Squadron in the Air Force providing all skills levels within her field.

It hasn't always been easy for Wilma. She has been knocked down several times, but has found ways of going forward. Wilma tries to enhance and find the positives in what life gives. "Enjoy your life. You can't live someone else's life...that life is already taken."
